Cookies

Cookies are used to temporarily keep track of the items in your shopping cart before you check out. Storing a session ID number within a cookie enables us to uniquely identify your order and keep it separate from other customer orders until your order is complete. Temporarily storing your session ID in this manner is used by the vast majority of e-commerce sites.

What are cookies and why must I accept them on your site?

A cookie is a small piece of information (text file) that's sent to your browser - along with an HTML page - when you access many web sites including ours. When a cookie arrives at your browser, it generally is saved on your hard drive or in your computer's memory. When you return to our shopping cart after selecting more items, stored information is sent back to the site's web server, along with your request. A cookie is also a session "ID tag." It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It can not read any other part of your files, nor can it be used to send viruses.

How do I enable cookies on my browser?

You can order your browser to accept all cookies or to alert you every time a cookie is offered. Then, your browser will allow you to decide whether to accept them automatically or ask you to grant permission in each instance.
